Sherry Sullivan

Sherry Sullivan joined the CommGeniX operations team in 2007 and is currently Director, Conference Services. Utilizing her 20 years of meeting and hospitality industry experience in Meeting & Exhibit Management, Contract Negotiations and Sales. Sherry has directly managed medical, pharmaceutical, association, corporate and government meetings ranging in size from 20 –2,000 attendees. Her specialty areas include: Pharmaceutical promotional meetings, Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs and Healthcare forums that bring together Physicians and Healthcare Professionals from around the world.

In conjunction with these meetings, she managed exhibit tradeshows ranging from 50 –100 booths. Exhibitors included many Fortune 100 Companies, Healthcare Systems, Hi-Tech Firms, Publishing Companies, Non-Profit Associations and Government Agencies. She began her career working in hotel national sales offices in Washington, DC representing Renaissance Hotels and Resorts, followed by InterContinental Hotels worldwide. This valuable experience, along with her meeting planning skills, makes her uniquely qualified to negotiate custom vendor contracts on behalf of her clients. Moreover, her knowledge gained while working on contracts with several hospitality law attorneys helps reduce her clients’ financial exposure and minimize their risk.

Sherry has been an active member of Meeting Professionals International (MPI) since 1991, serving on the boards of both the Potomac and Tampa Bay chapters. In 2002, Sherry was awarded “Meeting Planner of the Year” by the Tampa Bay MPI chapter.
