As director of business development Nina Patel Lahanis, MS brings a broad range of experience in the areas of biotech/pharmaceutical medical communications and strategic planning all with exceptional client service.
Nina received her MS in molecular biology from the Harvard University. She was a Research Microbiologist for the US Army and also a research scientist for Amersham Pharmacia Biotech before moving into a global marketing role with Amersham. Before coming to CommGeniX, Nina was an account director at ProEd Communications and MedThink Communications as well as an account executive at WebMD/Medscape. Her years in account services on the medical communications agency side, combined with her research and marketing experience on the biotech/pharmaceutical side provides her clients the additional insight for medical communications initiatives. Nina has applied this expertise to a variety of medical communications initiatives ranging from: thought leader identification/profiling, physician and nurse advisory boards, roundtable events with enduring materials, CME and non-CME live/online symposia, live/online speaker training, publications planning/management, publications development, slide library management/development, and sales training modules. She has provided strategic planning and recommended initiatives in the areas of: cardiology, oncology, pulmonology, dermatology, immunology, infectious disease, gastroenterology, women’s health, and neurology.
