Colleen received her PharmD from the University of North Carolina, School of Pharmacy. She was a Clinical Associate in the Department of Medicine, Division of Hematology/Oncology at Duke University Medical Center for over 12 years. During this time she served as the Co-Director of the Pharmaceutical Research Service for the Duke Cancer Center.

Since 1998, Colleen has applied her expertise to a variety of medical communications roles including strategic planning and program design for an array of education and training initiatives. Her experience has ranged from e-learning interactive case studies, accredited and promotional slide kits and monographs, live symposia, advisory boards, consultant meetings and speaker training programs. In addition to her oncology expertise, Colleen has worked in the areas of immunology, infectious diseases, endocrinology, neurology and psychology.
